MT10 News is an award-winning student-run news station located in the Center for Innovation in Media at Middle Tennessee State University. From covering President Trump’s visit to Nashville, homicides near MTSU’s campus, the Holly Bobo Murder Trial, to student organization events and students on campus making a difference, MT10 News is your source for Middle Tennessee’s news.

Recently, MT10 News has been recognized on both a local and national level for news excellence. MT10 News took home First Place Associated Press Broadcasters Awards and won “Best in Show”, the Associated Press’s equivalent of “Award for News Excellence” last March.

MT10 News also prides itself on it’s alumni going on to excel in jobs in the broadcasting business. Within the last few years, MT10 News alumni have taken reporter and producer jobs in the Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville, Birmingham, Memphis, Tyler, TX, Tupelo, MS, and Huntington, WV television markets.

This semester, MT10 News utilizes a staff of over 50 people and broadcasts 3 nightly newscasts per week. News also has a staff of over 30 production students that volunteer each week to put the newscasts on the air.
